A ballet performance featuring Danish and Macedonian choreographers, Frank Andersen and Sasha Evtimova will be held at the Opera House in Hanoi on November 1.
The show will present to audiences the Danish classical ballets ‘La Ventana’, ‘The Flower Festival in Genzano’, and the Macedonian contemporary ballet ‘Secret Garden’ performed by Vietnam National Opera and Ballet.
‘La Ventana’ shows Danish and classical dances that can be harmonized to yield a graceful and charming unity, while the pas de deux from ‘ The Flower Festival in Genzano’ is one of Bournonvilles most attractive and accomplished compositions--light, lively and elegant.
The ‘Secret Garden’ choreographed and staged by Sasha Evimova is combined with digital animation.
On the same day, Nepalese singer and songwriter Ayush Shrestha will bring a fresh musical taste to Hanoi, coupling his contemporary folk songs with the six strings and a dash of traditional Nepali melody.
The singer has performed at The Moksh in Kathmandu and the musician’s Mecca-- Blue Frog in Mumbai. Ayush will give an exclusive performance at The Hanoi Social Club.
