The annual event, named after the most beautiful flower in the region, ban flower (scientifically known as Bauhinia Variegata), aims to honour and preserve values of the local culture while combining cultural preservation with tapping tourism potential.
A highlight of the three-day event is a music show with hundreds of professional and amateur artists taking part.
A cultural camp competition, display of local signature products, and folk games will also be held.
The event affords the province a chance to popularise its nature, history and culture to domestic and foreign visitors
