A fashion show of Ao Dai made of brocade by designer Minh Hanh was held at the United Nations Office in Geneva, Switzerland.

The event aims to mark the 40th anniversary of Viet Nam joining the UN and present Brocade, a famous product of the ethnic minorities in Northwest Vietnam, to Swiss diplomats and the public at the United Nations Office in Geneva.
Attending at the show were Deputy PM Vuong Dinh Hue, Secretary General of ASEAN Le Luong Minh, representatives of international organizations, senior officials of the United Nations, ambassadors from countries and Swiss leaders.
Minh Hanh is one of the leading veteran fashion designers in Vietnam. She has received several international awards, including Thailand’s ASEAN Selection 2016 Award, the New Designer at Asia Collection Makuhari Fashion Show in Japan in 1997, the Chevalier of Culture and Art in France in 2006 and Japan’s Fukuoka Prize in Arts and Culture category in 2015.
