The 70-minute show called “Da co Cam Thi” will present to devotees excerpts from famous cai luong plays and cai luong songs with the participation of artists of Can ThoCollege of Culture and Arts, the Can Tho City Stage Assocation, Can Tho University and Tay Do Theater.
The theater will give performances free of charge in the first three months and then will begin selling tickets for the show.
Organizers hope the event will contribute to the preservation of traditional art and create tourist products for local people and visitors to Can Tho.
