A chamber music concert titled “Pastoral” featuring folk melodies will be organized at Vietnam National Academy of Music in Hanoi on July 24.

The music show will present to audiences works containing national characteristics of various countries that are lended together in a harmonious, sophisticated manner.
These chosen music works will be performed by artists, including pianist Nguyen Duc Anh and Luu Duc Anh, violinists Nguyen Linh Uyen and Nguyen Thien Minh, cellists Luong Thu Tra and Phan Do Phuc, and viola player Khuc Van Khoa
The concert will open with the Piano Trio for Piano, Violin and Cello by the great composer Mozart. There is also the premiere of Suite of folk songs written by Nguyen Thuy Loan for two piano, performed to Vietnamese public for the first time. The show will end with a masterpiece for piano quintet (piano & a string quartet) by Antonin Dvorak with a Czech folk spirit.
