A chat between famous theatrical artists and audiences will take place in Nguyen Van Binh Book Street in Ho Chi Minh City on January 8.
People’s Artists Kim Cuong, Meritorious artists Thanh Loc, Huu Chau and Que Tran who were born renowned traditional cai luong families will join the event.
The meeting is a part of the series of programs called Saigon xua (Old Saigon) that is held by Phuong Nam Cultural JSC (PNC). The event aims to honor cultural values of the old Saigon and give a deep knowledge of Saigon to young people.
Additionally, another chat with the participation of writer/doctor Le Minh Khoi will be organized in the book street on January 7.
The author under pseudonym, Mac Dai is well-known for his books reflecting daily life of the poor, dreams of living a peaceful life. On this occasion, he will present his latest book to readers, Nhung suon nui lap lanh (Sparkling mountain sides).
