Christmas concert to ring in festive season

A free christmas concert opened at Goethe Institute in Hanoi on December 4 and will take place at the Opera House in the northern coastal city of Hai Phong on December 5.

On this special occasion, two traditional Christmas concerts are expected to celebrate a successful year of 2015 to all people.

Compositions by Georg Friedrich Händel and Johann Sebastian Bach, as well as popular Christmas songs will take music lovers into a magical world of Christmas with the Vietnam Bamboo Ensemble Suc Song Moi, the International Choir Hanoi, a chamber orchestra, and numerous other artists.

Meanwhile Hanoi International Theater Society (HITS) is performing three ‘condensed’ Shakespearean plays. Romeo & Juliet, Macbeth and The Tempest at Chez Xuan Restaurant Garden Bar & Grill in Hanoi on December 4-6.

Actors, directors, and crew come from a wide variety of countries.

Vietnam targets to earn 5 gold medals at Asiad 18
