City holds Arts Program in support of people with disabilities

An arts program was held on August 15 at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in District 1 in Ho Chi Minh City, to support people with disabilities.

The painting titled ‘Circle of Love’ was auctioned at the end of the program

The Arts Program had participation of many Vietnamese and international students and people with disabilities from the Disability Resource and Development Center.

The program was attended by many famous singers who performed a series of meaningful songs for audiences.

At the end of the program, a painting titled ‘Circle of Love’ was auctioned for US$1,000. The money will go to a fund run by Disability Resource and Development Center.

 On the same day, a painting and photo exhibition also took place at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and attracted more than a hundred students and viewers.

According to the organizers, the money collected from the sale of paintings and photo as well as ticket sales will support people with disabilities.
