Concert honors patriotism in young generation

More than 4,000 artists and Communist Youth Union members joined a special concert themed “Proud of My Country” which was held at the Quan Ngua Sports Complex in Hanoi on August 17.

The event was attended by Politburo member and Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee (VFFCC) Nguyen Thien Nhan, Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam; leaders from the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee.

The program featured patriotic songs honoring national pride and raised the people’s awareness and responsibility for national protection.

“Proud of My Country” showed a belief in the power of young generations who are eager to contribute in building the country.

The concert is co-organized by the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee and Thanh Nien (Youth) Newspaper.
