Concert to pay tribute to John Lennon

A concert commemorating legendary musician John Lennon will be held at Hanoi Creative City on December 8.


The event called “Let It Be – John Lennon Tribute 2016” is expected to bring together a large number of around 1,000 fans to honor Lennon’s musical legacy and enjoy the old and immortal melodies of John Lennon.

Early December every year, all the Rock n’ Roll music lovers in the world will have a minute in the memory of the greatest musician, singer of all times, the biggest monument of 20th music – John Lennon.

Lennon was born on Oct. 9, 1940, in Liverpool, England. He was shot and killed in New York City, at 40 years old, on Dec. 8, 1980.The success of The Beatles is the key to the popularity of John as he was the band’s leader, singer, composer, instrument players cum orientor.
