Enjoying “Music from Italy” in Ho Chi Minh City

The “Music from Italy” concert marking the 9th edition of the Week of Italian Language will be held at Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music on October 19.

The concert has the special participation of two Italian musicians, including pianist Anna Lisa Giordano and saxophonist Alfredo Cerrito; and top vocalists from Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music, namely Anh Bang, Khanh Trang, Ngoc Tuyen, Khanh Ngoc and Thu Thao.
Anna Lisa Giordano obtained the Graduate Diploma in Piano with the highest honors at the “San Pietro a Majella” Conservatory of Naples. In 2014, she got the “Master of Arts in Music Performance” at the Conservatory of Italian Switzerland in Lugano. She won the first prize in various national and international competitions.

Afredo Cerrito won many national and international competitions, including jazz ones. He joined the prestigious Wind Orchestra of the Italian Army and performed in many famous theaters until September 2009. Recently he and the “Duo 8 e 15″ that founded in 2009 with the pianist Anna Lisa Giordano have successfully performed in many countries all over the world.
