The European literature book days will be held for the first time at Nguyen Van Binh Book Street in Ho Chi Minh City’s District 1 from May 8-12.
Eight European countries will present works which have recently been published in Vietnamese, in collaboration with several major publishers.
This year’s event will focus on adventures of iconic comic strip heroes, Tintin and Lucky Luke which are some of the most popular and best-selling comic-book series in continental Europe.
The European Literature Days event has been held annually in Hanoi since 2011.
The event is co-organized by the organization board of the Ho Chi Minh City Book Street and the French embassy in Hanoi.
