An exhibition honoring heroines of the People's Armed Forces of South Vietnam is being held at Southern Women's Museum in Ho Chi Minh City.

The event displays 255 photos of women who were conferred and bestowed the title “Heroines of the People's Armed Forces of South Vietnam” until March, 2017.

The exhibiton aims to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Vietnamese War Invalids and Martyrs' Day (on July 27).

Attending the opening ceremony on June 20 were Chargé d'affaires of Colombia to Vietnam, Claudia Liliana Zambrano Naranjo; representatives of departments, districts’ women unions in the city and museums of Long An, An Giang, Tra Vinh provinces and ca Mau City; together with female war veterans.
