Exhibition on Vietnamese currency history opens in HCMC

An exhibition on the  history of Vietnam's currency has opened at the HCM City Museum of History in District 1.

The event co-organized by the HCM City Museum of History the municipal Southern Women's Museum and collectors Le Hoan Hung, Nguyen Nu Thien Huong, Huynh Tan Thanh and Nguyen Van Mai aims to mark the 42nd anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30).

The exhibition showcases 700 artefacts related to Vietnamese currency, including  coins and banknotes from the 10th century to the present day.

The display runs until October 27.
