Festival Of SOS Children’s Villages Takes Place in Da Lat

120 children who study hard and have good scholastic achievements from 12 SOS villages nationwide have gathered in a festival entitled “Little Sun 2007” which took place yesterday in Da Lat City, Lam Dong Province.

The children contemplate photos at the exhibition.

During the week-long event, the children will join in exciting activities including a photo exhibition, musical performances, visiting Da Lat’s hot tourist spots, a painting contest, camp-fire night, folk games and sport competitions such as kite flying, "Conquering Langbian” climbing competition, and others.

Established 20 years ago, the SOS children's village system in Viet Nam has been extended to 12 provinces and cities. At present, the 12 SOS villages have benefited over 2,600 orphans.
