Free International Training Course on Cinema and Television

A cinematography project funded by the Ford Foundation for university graduates in Ha Noi will begin on December 4, free of charge, aiming to promote the talents of script-writers and film reviewers.

The project will introduce international standards of script-writing, film critique, and reviews through the U.S methodology, with reference materials translated into Vietnamese.

Successful Vietnamese directors, filmmakers, and script-writers such as Dang Nhat Minh, Pham Nhue Giang, Bui Thac Chuyen, and Ngo Quang Hai and will team up with guest lecturers, famous filmmaker Parlk Kwansu from South Korea, Professor David James from the University of Southern California School of Cinema-Television from the US, and others, to help train aspiring Vietnamese on various aspects of the film industry.
