Free screenings for students held in northwest region

Free screenings for students in the northwest region is being held in provinces, Lao Cai, Lai Chau and Dien Bien from December 17-22.

The event called “Cinema for all people” opened at Bat Xat School for ethnic minority students in Lao Cai Province and attracted more than 3,000 students in the opening ceremony. The program’s organizer, CJ CGV Vietnam granted 20 scholarships worth VND1 million of each to disadvantaged students.

The organization board will continue to offer 100 scholarships in next days.

Launched in 2011, the “Cinema for all people” program has presented valuable movies to over 10,000 audiences in remote areas nationwide.
