French Pianist Patrick Zymanowsky Returns

The celebrated French pianist Patrick Zymanowsky is returning to Viet Nam to perform in concert at the Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music on Friday evening.

Patrick Zymanowsky is performing in the first concert in HCMC.

Joining the show, which starts at eight o’clock, will be the pianists Le Ho Hai, Nguyen Thuy Yen and Pham Nguyen Anh Vu, the soprano Anh Tuyet and the fagotist Luong Thang Long.

They will perform works by Claude Debussy, Charles Gounod, Giacomo Puccini, Darius Milhaud, Edward Elgar and other famous composers.

Patrick Zymanowsky began playing piano at a very early age and has won awards in several prestigious national and international contests. He regularly performs as a soloist in many places throughout the world including Finland, Italy, Switzerland, Germany and Japan.

These days he also teaches at the Paris National Conservatory of Music and Dance and the Lyon National Conservatory of Music.

The organizers of Friday’s concert are the French Consulate General in HCMC and the Performance Center of the Conservatory of Music. Tickets prices range from VND100,000 to VND150,000.
