Go Vap District Collected a Record Number of Over 8,000 Dolls

Youth Union and Service of Education and Training of Go Vap District sent to “Doll’s House” program’s organizing board over 8,000 dolls on May 18, 2006.

Two months after the program was launched, the organizing board received warm responses from all people, especially the pupils and enterprises.

Until May 18, 2006, the organizing board collected more than 40,000 dolls. Go Vap District set a record number of 8,500 dolls, following by the Education and Training Service of District 1 with over 7,000 dolls.

The pupils also attach to their dolls about 3,000 short pieces of writing about the doll’s origin, their love and feeling toward the doll and a few words to the new owners.

Besides, five-star hotel Equatorial will fund the press conference and doll exhibition, taking place from May 20-22, 2006.
