Gukak Chungnam Orchestra performs in Hanoi

The Gukak Chungnam Orchestra, a South Korean traditional music band (Photo) from Cheonan City will perform at a concert in Au Co Theater of Hanoi on July 6.

The orchestra earlier gave a performance in Ho Chi Minh City’s Ben Thanh Theater on July 3.

The Korean artists will be onstage with Vietnamese song named que huong toi (Vietnam is my homeland ) by composer Do Nhuan, featuring the country’s beauty and friendly Vietnamese people to international friends.

The concert titled Korea Fantasy will also introduce to music lovers Korean traditional music by folk instruments, such as Daegeum flute, Janggu drum.

Founded in 1990, the orchestra has staged more than 1,600 shows in the RoK and abroad to introduce Korean culture to the world.
