Gourmands will be pampering their taste buds at this year’s European Food Festival, which will be held in the garden of the National Library Saturday, May 24.
The event will allow the people of Ha Noi to get a taste of European food and will bring the Vietnamese and European communities together for a night of food, drink and entertainment, said an official from the European Chamber of Commerce (EuroCham).
The festival will promote the diversity of Europe by presenting its culinary arts, Mr. Nicholas Greenfield, EuroCham Hanoi director, told journalists at a press conference Monday.
It will promote cooperation and deepen understanding between the European and Vietnamese communities, he added.

Do Re Mi, a group that used to play for a children’s television program, will provide a song and dance performance,
Part of the European Commission’s month-long Europe Days celebration, this festival is supported by the Delegation of the European Commission to Viet Nam, Vietnam Airlines, the Daewoo Ha Noi Hotel and leading European enterprises including Metro and Piaggio.
