Hanoi hosts exhibition on General Vo Nguyen Giap

An exhibition on Vietnam’s Legendary General Vo Nguyen Giap is being held at the Vietnam Military History Museum in Hanoi.

The exhibition presents to viewers more than 300 valuable photographs and documents on the General’s revolutionary life and daily activities.

The display aims to pay tribute to the late General who made outstanding contributions in building and protecting the nation.

In related news, Vietnam Television will air a 3D cartoon film on General Vo Nguyen Giap from October 11-13 on VTV1, VTV3, VTV4 and VTV6 Channels.

The 20-minute animation titled ‘Historical Decision’ is the first 3D cartoon film on Vietnam’s most revered living legend who made a victorious decision at the Dien Bien Phu Battlefield in 1954.

The film also honors heroes like Be Van Dan, To Vinh Dien and Phan Dinh Giot who sacrificed their lives in the battle.

The script of the cartoon film was based on the General’s memoirs and stories from people who had close contact with him during his lifetime.
