Hanoi opens Tet book street 2017

On January 30 (the 3rd day of the first lunar month), the Tet book street 2017 was kicked off by the Hanoi Department of Information & Communications and the central, local agencies in the city at Le Thach street and Ly Thai To flower street.

The Tet book street 2017 aims to promote the reading habit for local people

The book street is aimed to promote the reading habit and create the cultural spaces for the local people and be a cultural playground for young people. It is to open cooperation chance and sharing experience between local people and international visitors.

The book street displays 25 book stalls from many publishing houses such as Kim Dong Publishing House, Phu Nu Book ...

The event also features a Spring newspaper stall and will be open till February 5, falling on the 9th day of the first month.
