HBSO presents dance performance marking 128th birth anniversary of Uncle Ho

A dance performance clebrating the 128th birth anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh will take place at Ho Chi Minh City Opera House on May 19.

The play themed Con mai voi thoi gian (For the time being, forever) is directed by People’s Artists Vu Viet Cuong and Kim Quy with the participation of choreographers Phuc Hai and Phuc Hung, and artist of the Ho Chi Minh City Ballet Symphony Orchestra and Opera (HBSO). Its conductor is Meritorious Artist Tran Vuong Thach.
The performance will revive the 1968 Mau Than Campaign, the Ho Chi Minh Campaign in April, 1975 for the liberation of the south and national reunification; and commemorate fallen soldiers and people who laid down their lives for national independence and the freedom.
Music lovers will have a chance to enjoy a latest composition titled “ A Legendary Spring” by musician Nguyen Manh Duy Linh in the concert.
