HBSO presents Mozart's concert

The Ho Chi Minh City Ballet Symphony Orchestra and Opera will present to music lovers a chamber concert featuring works by the world-famous composer Mozart at the municipal Opera House on June 8.

The composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart died at the age of 36. He was introduced to music at an early age, as a child prodigy famous all over Europe and performing before monarchs.
Violinist Nguyen Cong Thang, viola player Pham Vu Thien Bao will join the performance together with artists of HBSO under the baton of Japanese conductor Honna Tetsuji.
Nguyen Cong Thang has performed in countries such as Austria, Spain, France, Italy, the UK and Thailand.
Pham Vu Thien Bao is Vietnam’s most renowned classical viola player. He was an official member of French National Symphony Orchestra for years and considered the talented chamber musician in Europe
Honna Tetsuji is music director and principal conductor of the Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra. He has made many CD recordings with Japanese and other orchestras
