HBSO to present “Dancing with classical” concert

The Ho Chi Minh City Ballet Symphony Orchestra and Opera (HBSO) will present a concert themed “Dancing with classical” to music lovers at the municipal Opera House on December 29.

The theater expects to end the year of 2016 with a very special program, bringing the joyful spirit to welcome the New Year.

Audiences will have a chance to enjoy different dance pieces of Hungary, the Slavonic, and Russia, the noble waltz, the upbeat tango, bolero, mambo and others; and wonderful music from Tchaikovsky, Georges Bizet, Brahms, Johann Strauss, Jacques Offenbach, Leonard Bernstein, Leroy Anderson.

The program welcomes the return of the famous Vietnamese conductor Le Phi Phi, who is currently successful in his career in Europe, and also has made many contributions to the development of the country's music industry.
