HCMC Book Street Festival to be opened in January 10, 2016

The Book Street festival at Nguyen Van Binh Street, district 1, HCMC will be moved to January 10, 2016 instead of planned of the schedule on December 30, announced the organizers on December 25.

At present, over 17 publishing houses have registered to take part in the event including Young Publishing House, Kim Dong, Phuong Nam, Nha Nam, Thai Ha, Tri Viet, Phan Thi, Alphabooks, Dong A, Xunhasaba…

HCMC General Post Office and Hoa Sen University have planned to offer several sideline activities for this event.

The event aims to promote the reading habit and encourage cultural companies to help develop this habit among young people.
