Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi to host concerts of classical music

A classical music concert titled “Vocal Concert Night” featuring Vietnamese and Korean artists will be held at the Ho Chi Minh City Opera House on September 19.

Korean vocalists Park Seong Do and Cho Hae Ryong, together with artists of the HCMC Ballet Symphony Orchestra and Opera will present to music lovers masterpieces by Giuseppe Verdi, Pietro Mascagni, Georges Bizet and Giacomo Puccini under the baton of conductor Tran Nhat Minh.

Tickets are priced between VND60,000 (for students) and VND250,000 for the public. Available at the HCMC Opera House, 7 Lam Son Square, District 1; HCMC Ballet Symphony Orchestra and Opera, 3 Phan Van Dat, District 1.

In related news, music lovers will have a chance to enjoy classical works of Autumn Melodies at the Hanoi Opera House on September 26.

Pianist Tran Thu Ha and violinist Bui Cong Duy will play under the baton of conductor and violinist Ngo Van Thanh.

Tickets are priced at VND150,000-VND500,000 and available at Hanoi Opera House, 1 Trang Tien.
