Hollywood film crew to arrive Vietnam this week

The film crew of Hollywood blockbuster ‘Kong: Skull Island’, by director and screenwriter, Jordan Charles Vogt-Roberts will arrive in Hanoi on February 18.

The film crew of Hollywood blockbuster ‘Kong: Skull Island’, by director and screenwriter, Jordan Charles Vogt-Roberts will arrive in Hanoi on February 18.

Around 300 members will travel to provinces, Ninh Binh, Quang Ninh and Quang Binh for the filming from February 22.

“Kong: Skull Island” will be released in March, 2017 with Godzilla 2 following in 2018. Then, Godzilla vs Kong, will hit theaters in 2020, according to the film’s PR representative, Gregg Brillant.

‘Kong: Skull Island’ will be shot in Vietnam, Australia and Hawaii (the U.S). The movie will have the attendance of star actors/actresses Bire Larson, Tom Hiddleston, Brie Larson, John C. Reily, Samuel L. Jackson and Toby Kebbell.

Several local businesses offering location logistics, media production services and among will participate in the project.

The film crew has early made the location survey plan since August 26, 2015 in a lot of provinces and cities nationwide.
