“Homeland Melodies” concert honors folk music

The “Homeland Melodies” concert featuring Vietnamese traditional music will take place at Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music on January 8.

The performance aims to present and promote Vietnamese folk music to local and international audiences.

The concert will give music lovers a chance to enjoy Vietnamese folk songs and new compositions for solo and ensembles of Vietnamese traditional musical instruments .

Well-known artists, such as  Hai Phuong, Thu Hien, Thanh Truc, Le Dai Duong, Tran Thien Lam, Thu Thao, Nguyen Linh Truc Lai, Nguyen Viet Thu, Phu Sa Band, and the traditional Music Orchestra of Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music will perform in the show under the baton of conductor/Meritorious Artist Tran Thanh Trung.

Ticket costs VND100,000 – VND300,000.
