Int’l photo exhibition opens

The Gia Dinh Photography Club opened its exhibition of the top 182 photos for the first ‘International Photo Competition’ at the HCMC Exhibition House, district 1. The exhibition will remain open until February 21.

The exhibition is sponsored by the Fédération Internationale de l'Art Photographique (FIAP), the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists (VAPA) and Ho Chi Minh City Photography Association (HOPA).
 
The Gia Dinh Club also presented certificates of merit and awards to winners of the photo competition.
 
The winning photos will be published in a book
 
The first International Photo Competition attracted 3,196 colored and black-and-white photos by 533 photographers from 26 countries.
 
Photos were taken for various topics: landscapes, portraits, ordinary life and still-life, including nudes.
