Int’t festival of Vietnamese Traditional Martial Arts opened

The 5th international festival of Vietnamese traditional martial arts was opened in Binh Dinh Province’s Quy Nhon City on August 1.

At festival, Binh Dinh organized the ceremony receiving certificate of the Vietnamese Traditional Martial Arts as the national intangible cultural heritage granted by the Ministry of Culture, Sport and Tourism.

A series of cultural activities , such as art perfromances, the Championship of the 5th International Festival of Vietnamese Traditional Martial Arts 2014; the Contest of Miss Traditional Martial Arts; street festival and others will also be held during the event.

One of the highlights is a seminar on preserving and promoting Vietnamese Traditional Martial Arts  with attendance of 400 participants from 40 local and interantional traditional martial arts groups, said organizers.
