Live link-up television program promotes seas and islands

A live link-up television program with the theme of To Quoc nhin tu bien (Fatherland seen from sea) will take place in Hanoi, Bien Dong (East sea) Park in Da Nang City and Ly Son District in the central province of Quang Ngai on June 8.

It is one of the highlight programs popularizing Vietnam's Sea and Islands directed by Vietnam Television.

The live link-up television program will include an exchange with people who are working from Lung Cu, the top piece of land; to Tho Chu archipelagos in the Gulf of Thailand northwest off the country's southernmost Cape Ca Mau; and resident’ daily activities on Ly Son island.

The program aims to honor love for the country, raise the public awareness of exploiting sea and island potential and protecting Vietnam's sovereignty over seas and islands.

The event will be broadcast live on VTV1 channel.
