The winner will receive a scholarship worth VND1 billion (US$43,000) and be trained with Kagandahang Flores, one of the premiere beauty pageant camp in the Philippines.
Barbara Vitorelli, 25, of Brazil was declared the winner and was crowned Miss Global 2017 which was held in Phnom Penh, Cambodia in November 2017. She is now a teacher and studying at at University Estadual of Maringa to gain a Doctorate degree.
Miss Global is an extravagant and prestigious competition beyond just the physical beauty of women from all over the world. The contestants are encouraged to express their individuality with poise, grace, and wits.
