A music festival of Central Highlands and Southern provinces opened in Gia Lai Province on March 17.
More than 200 musicians, singers, composers and artists from 19 cities and provinces performed at the event.
The festival aims to encourage creativity in composition, performing, theory and criticism, and music training. It is also a chance for artists to exchange experiences in their career, introduce latest works, and boost musical activities in the region.
A delegation led by Ho Chi Minh City Music Association gave a special performance for the concluding ceremony on March 18.
The city’s art troupe visited Kon Tum and Gia Lai provinces on March 19-20.
