Representative of Vietnam at the Miss Earth 2016 pageant, Nguyen Thi Le Nam Em won the golden medal in the “Miss Photogenic” competition.
Earlier, the Vietnamese beauty won silver medals in the Talent Competition for a touching cover of “You Raise Me Up” and the evening gown competition with a blue dress designed by Hang Nguyen. Nam Em currently ranks 3 at the Miss Earth contest, after the contestants from Ecuador and Mexico.
She joined an exchange with audiences that was held by SashFactor beauty magazine and highly appreciated for her friendliness, cheerfulness and good sense of humor.
Nam Em, 20, was honored with the title of “Miss Mekong Delta 2015” in the country. She is 1.73m tall with body measurements of 85-60-90. She was also listed among top 10 finalists at Miss Universe Vietnam 2015.
Nam Em has ever become ambassador of the Mekong Delta Green Tourism Week 2015 and participated in social activities, such as a campaign promoting local reef conservation and offering gifts to disadvantaged children.
She competes with nearly 90 other contestants from around the world in the Miss Earth 2016 beauty contest being taken place in the Philippines.
The final night will be held at the Mall of Asia Arena on October 29.
