The 2015 ASEAN traiditional music festival launched by Ministry of Culture, Sport & Tourism and People's Committee of Thanh Hoa is taking place in Lam Son theater, Dien Bien of the northern province of Thanh Hoa.
The festival (photo) attracts over 100 artisans from many art troupes in Southeast Asian region such as Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, Singapore, the Philippines, Myanmar, Indonesia ..
Recently, Vietnam has hosted many cultural, sport and tourism events, aiming to strengthen the cooperation relationships and link the countries in the region.
The festival is part of activities under the 2015 - Thanh Hoa national tourism year themed "Linking world heritages".
As many as traditional music events take place in Lam Son theater and Sam Som city of Thanh Hoa province.
The festival will end on August 6.
