Painting auction raises fund for disable children

The fund “Living to love” organized a charity painting auction at the Gem Center, HCMC aiming to raise fund for disable children in the country yesterday.

Art lovers for the first time had chance to contemplate valuable paintings of Vietnamese famous painter Bui Giang such as “Gui dem” by Chinese oil and gouache color on paper. The painting  was auctioned at the starting price of US$ 2,500.

“Hanoi’s ancient streets” by painter Bui Xuan Phat (oil painting on canvas) painted in 1968-1972 period had a starting price from US$ 77,000.

Many art works of artists Le Kinh Tai, Dinh Thi Tham Poong, Lim Khim Katy, Nguyen Thi Chau Giang, Nguyen Van Duc, Le Hao, Dao Xuan Tinh, Nguyen Ngoc Vu were up for sale at the auction.
