Seven women artists are displaying their paintings in an exhibition titled “Joy of March” at Phuong Mai gallery in Ho Chi Minh City to mark Woman’s Day (March 8).

Veteran artist Nguyen Thi Tam, 75, shows her creative talent in minutely detailed oil paintings.
Artists Cao Thi Duoc from the Mekong Delta Province of Ben Tre and Dang Thi Duong bring works of beautiful ladies and colorful flowers.
The three painters are teachers at the Ho Chi Minh City University of Fine Arts. Their students Thu Huong and Hua Dieu Nu exhibit bright, youthful and strong brushwork in their art at the show.
Painters Minh Nguyet and Bach Lan are attracting audiences with their pictures of flowers and nude paintings of young women.
The exhibition will run until March 9.
