Photo exhibition on Vietnam’s Sea and Islands held in Cyprus

Vietnam Cultural Week has been opened in Nicosia, the capital of the Republic of Cyprus, on January 18- 30, aiming to mark the 40th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and the Republic of Cyprus (1975-2015), according to a press release of Vietnamese Embassy to the Republic of Cyprus and Italy.

On this occasion, journalist and photographer Gian Thanh Son will introduce his collection on the beauty of Vietnamese sea and islands that he has snapped during the last 20 years.

Through the photos the photographer wants to boost country's image in the eye of the world, introducing not only Vietnam’s economic, tourist and environmental potentials but also Vietnam’s wonderful views from Gulf of Tonkin to Southwestern territorial water, from Spratly Islands to Con Dao and Phu Quoc islands.
