Photo exhibitions highlights HCM City’s development

A photo exhibition marking the 43rd anniversary of the liberation of South Vietnam and national reunification (April 30) and the 132nd International May Day (May 1) opened at the heart of HCM City on April 27.

The display themed “Ho Chi Minh City – Aspiration for Rising Highly”, features 84 pictures honoring the glorious struggle of the army and the southern people for the liberation of the south and national reunification and the development of HCMC over the past four decades.
The event is open on Nguyen Hue and Dong Khoi streets, in the opposition area of Chi Lang Park and Labor Culture Palace in District 1.
In addition, another exhibition displaying 50 photos on the activeness and renovation of workers in Ho Chi Minh City and 70 pictures highlighting workers’ traditional patriotism in the processes of the national industrialization and modernization during the anti-American resistance war  also opened in Dong Khoi street and Labor Culture Palace on the same day..
Exhibitions run until May 4.
