Photo exhibiton on Vietnam opens in Russia

An exhibition titled "Vietnam – the land and people" opened in Moscow, Russia on June 20.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Valery Nikiforov, Director of the "Photo Center" Association, said that the exhibition gave viewers the recent developments of Vietnam in the fields of politics and economics, and introduced beautiful images of the country, culture and people of Vietnam.

Exhibits include 130 pictures of Vietnam on the way of integration, affirming   the position and role of the country in the international arena. The photos also present Vietnam-Russia strategic partnership and Vietnam’s economic potentials.

The display is held on a significant occasion as the state visit of President Tran Dai Quang to Russia will take place next week.

The event runs until July 2.
