An Exhibition titled “Mot thoi de nho” (time to remember) was held at the former Hoa Lo Prison in Hanoi on October 7 to mark the 55th anniversary of Hanoi’s liberation (October 10).

On display were more than 100 documents, pictures, and other exhibits showing the patriotism and bravery of thousands of students in the war against the French colonialists.

During the struggle, many students had been imprisoned in Hoa Lo Prison or killed secretly by the French colonialists.

Many activities including fireworks, martial arts and traditional music performances will also be held to mark the 55th anniversary of Hanoi’s liberation in Hanoi from 9-11.
