Therefore, the physical movements as well as the story behind this piece is characterized in a more Vietnamese style, which helps the viewers to have a closer connection to many ethnic groups and traditions of the ancient Vietnam.
The Rite of Spring is a ballet and orchestral concert work by the Russian composer Igor Stravinsky. It was written in 1913. Although designed as a work for the stage, with specific passages accompanying characters and action, the music achieved equal if not greater recognition as a concert piece, and is widely considered to be one of the most influential musical works of the 20th century.
Stravinsky’s music in “Rite of Spring” is presented by his exciting adventure and unique creativity. The use of dissonant sounds will bring new colors and new energy for this piece of music. A mysterious tale combined with Igor Stravinsky’s beautiful music compositions form a fascinating ballet dance.
