Russian theater presents classic ballet performance with 3D animated graphics

The Russian classic ballet performance “Swan Lake” will be staged at the Vietnam National Convention in Hanoi on August 1 by the ballet theater Talarium et Lux (Ballet and Light).

The special performance is expected to win audieneces’ hearts with 3D animated graphics.

The balle featuring principal dancers E. Nebesnaya and S. Smirnov with more than 100 other performers is choreographed by Marina Yurievna Aleksandrova and Yuriy Anatolievich Romashko.

The show is directed by a legendary ballet dancer, ballet master and dance coach Mikhail Leonidovich Lavrovsky. The People’s Artist of the USSR is the Artistic director of Russian ballet theater Talarium et Lux.

Russian ballet company TALARIUM ET LUX was founded in 2012, forming a professional dance crew comprising ballet artists from the light of Moscow and all-over-Russia theaters. The company interprets classical choreography in a modern way by using light show and multimedia.

“Our aim is to retain the priceless cultural heritage of our country, the Russian ballet school, which is revered around the world” said Irina Omelchenko, the director of the theater.

“In order to draw attention to the classics we produce our performances in modern multimedia settings, and we’ll create new, original performances on the basis of classical traditions with integration of innovative stage technologies. ‘Ballet and light’ is not just a word combination for us, it’s a concept for our intention to introduce the Russian ballet in a new light or perspective, the most beneficial and modern one”, she added.
