Series of Colossal Paintings “Immortal Viet Nam”

The series of colossal paintings “Immortal Viet Nam” was made by painter Nguyen Phep and photographer Le Thi Phuoc in five months. They will be displayed in “Doll’s House” program, organized by the Sai Gon Giai Phong Newspaper at Ho Chi Minh City Children’s House on June 1.

The series consist of 8 paintings. Among them, there are seven paintings with the size of  1.4 meters x 2 meters each, “Children of the Fairy and the Dragon”, “The Happiness”, “Mother’s Heart”, “The Couples”, “Vietnamese Mother”, “The North-The Central and The South” and “The Swings”. The  paintings were made with 20,000 photos of children and women that photographer Le Thi Phuoc took in 20 years.

The eighth painting, made with 30,000 photos of children, women and flowers, is the biggest, 2 meters x 30 meters, themed “Thanh Giong and Dinh Bo Linh”.

The series of colossal paintings “Immortal Viet Nam” will be auctioned in the Reunification Palace on June 3 to support the victim’s family of typhoon Chanchu.
