Shakespeare's Hamlet performed in HCM City

The Vietnam Drama Theater will present Shakespeare's Hamlet at Ho Chi Minh City Opera House on January 5, 2016.

Hamlet is a tragedy written by William Shakespeare at an uncertain date between 1599 and 1602. It is one of Shakespeare’s masterpieces, has been performed countless times at theaters worldwide in the past four centuries. The tragedy is a journey to find the truth to protect people’s life and dignity.

The Vietnamese version of Hamlet scripted by Meritorious Artist Anh Tu will be performed by artists, including Trung Anh, Ta Tuan Minh, Phuong Nga, Quynh Hoa, Viet Thang and among.

The play was earlier staged at Hanoi Opera House in November.
