Singer Mai Khoi wins Vietnamese Song Award 2010

Singer and musician Mai Khoi won the “Song of the year” award for her work titled “Vietnam” at the Vietnamese Song Award ceremony in Ho Chi Minh City on February 27.

Musician Ta Quang Thang received the “Best Creative Musician”, a special award by the Viet Nam Music Association and the Vietnam National Youth Federation prize for his song La co (The flag).

The Vietnam National Youth Federation prize also went to musician Le Ha Nguyen for his song Banh xe Hanoi (Wheel of Hanoi).

Musician Luu Thien Huong received the “Best pop song” for her work “Ho Guom sang som” (Early Morning at Sword Lake) and the “Most impressive musician” prize.

‘Best Rock Song’and ‘People’s Choice Song’ awards went to musician Toan Thang for his composition “Uong tra” (tea drinking).

Composers An Hieu and Hoang Tuan got “The best symphonic song” prize for the song “Con oi hay ngu” (Baby going to sleep). “The Best Sound Mixer” award went to Duong Cam and Ha Anh Tuan got the “People’s Choice Singer” prize.

Musician Thanh Tam was honored with the “Contribution” title.
