South Korean girl group EXID to perform in HCM City

The a South Korean girl group EXID (Exceed In Dreaming) will travel to Ho Chi Minh City for a performance at the  Military Zone 7 Stadium on December 12.

Formed in 2012, they consist of five-members, Solji, LE, Hani, Hyelin and Junghwa. The group unexpectedly gained success after their 2014 single "Up & Down. The song got popularity after a fan-recorded video of member Hani performing the song went viral on Korean social networking websites.

The video has been viewed more than 20 million times to date. EXID released their second EP Ah Yeah in April 2015, to commercial success. Their first studio album, entitled Street, was released in June 2016.

Vietnamese singers, Dong Nhi, Noo Phuoc Thinh, Bich Phuong and others will also join the concert.
Pop star Dong Nhi won the Best Southeast Asian Act at the 2016 MTV Europe Music Awards (MTV EMA) which took place in Rotterdam, the Netherlands in early November.
