The Buffalo to perform 'Chicago'

The drama troupe, Buffalo will perform the Vietnamese version of the American musical, Chicago, at the Army Theater in Ho Chi Minh City’s Tan Binh District starting on August 19.
Artists of the group, including Cat Tuong, Diem Phuong, Kha Nhu, Hoang Quan, Khac Duy and others will join the play which is scripted by director Nguyen Khac Duy and choreographed by Nguyen Tan Loc in consultation with People’s Artists Tran Ngoc Giau.
The Buffalo is well-known for theatrical works, Tam Cam, Vu nu (Dancer), Tuyet do (Red snow) and has received praise from critics.
Chicago is an American musical. The original Broadway production opened in 1975 at the 46th Street Theater and ran for 936 performances until 1977. The Broadway revival holds the record as the longest-running musical revival and the longest-running American musical in Broadway and West End history. It has enjoyed several tours and international productions.
